Welcome to the Child Support Division of the Douglas County District Attorney’s Office.
We represent the best interest of the children involved in our cases, and our goal is to obtain and enforce the support that every child deserves from both parents.
While our office is relatively small compared to other county child support offices in Nevada, our hard-working staff is experienced at gaining cooperation from non-custodial parents to meet their court-ordered obligations. In 2008, Douglas County Child Support collected $2,531,906 for the children of Douglas County.
We encourage commitment from both parents to do what is best for their children, and are here to help with the struggles and financial challenges of raising them.
This office cannot provide assistance with issues pertaining to custody, visitation, or out-of-pocket medical expense recovery. Please contact a private attorney to assist in these matters.
