2.08.010 Policy of the board
Travel expenditures and reimbursement requested and received by county officers and employees shall comply with the county travel policy adopted by the board under the authority of this ordinance. Each department shall set forth in its annual budget the maximum amount of money that it estimates will be required to pay for necessary travel expenses for the fiscal year. 2.08.110 Penalties
    A.  Any officer or employee of the county violating any of the provisions of this chapter is guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be fined in a sum not exceeding one thousand dollars or imprisoned in the county jail for a period of time not exceeding six months, or by both such fine and imprisonment, upon conviction in any court of competent jurisdiction. 
    B.  In addition to the penalties set forth in subsection A of this section any employee who has violated the provisions of this chapter shall be subject to disciplinary action, including termination as provided in chapter 2.02 of this code. (Ord. 940, 2000; Ord. 467 §1(part), 1987)
