Victim Compensation
The Nevada Victims of Crime Program (VOCP) can assist eligible victims of crime cope and recover from the physical, emotional and financial impact of violent crimes. VOCP may help pay crime related expenses such as:
• Hospital and ambulance bills
• Medical and dental treatment
• Mental health counseling
• Wage or income loss
• Funeral or burial expenses
• Emergency shelter and relocation costs
• Crime scene cleanup
• And much more.
VOCP does NOT pay:
• Expenses for lost or stolen property or cash
• Property damage
• Expenses not directly related to the crime
• Any expense payable by insurance or any other source
• Damages for pain and suffering
